Welcome
We would love to see you in TN.

Located in the picturesque countryside of East Tennessee, we offer a small and affordable get away spot for you and your horse.

We are flexible in meeting your needs with RV hook ups, tent area, space to move around and a combination of features for your horse to also have space to play.  There are frost free water hydrants for RV, round pen and horse pastures.  There is a hitching post and portable mounting block.   We ask that you do your own animal clean up, as we have no equipment nor workers to help us old people!!

RV parking is pull-through for smaller rigs.  Full hook ups are available for each of the 2 parking spots.  A picnic table and grass area are also next to each spot.  A grass area is available for tents and canopies, with a fire pit in the same area.

Free high speed Wifi is available in the RV area.  Cell phone coverage can be weak depending upon your carrier; we have a Verizon network extender.

We are diligent about you and your horse's health and safety.

**  WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND: Borium/non-slip shoes for your horse.  :)  The blacktop from our camp to the trailhead can be slippery, and the trails can also be slippery.  Most trails have rocky sections so shoes are generally needed.

*  Stock tanks are disinfected after each guest leaves;

*  Pasture fencing is twisted wire; gates & round pens are metal panel;

*  We do not keep garbage on-site, so we ask that everyone "pack it in and pack it out" or make specific arrangements with us.

*  We drag our pastures regularly to minimize flies & other insects.

*  It is highly recommended to use the hitching post and bathing mats to avoid manure around human living areas.

*  First aid supplies are on site for those unexpected mishaps, located on the cabin porch.

*  There is a red emergency phone located on the cabin porch.

*  Inspected and certified by the Tennessee Dept. of Health.

We will help you to have a quick stop on your journey, or to have a trail riding experience you will remember.

It's about a 20 minute ride to gain access to the Cherokee National Forest without having to trailer your horse anywhere.  We may even ride along with you if you would like a guide to find the trails.  I don't need much of an excuse to go for a ride!!

There are also unlimited destinations for trail riding as well as places within a few hours for the humans.  This includes:

* Gatlinburg:  47.7 miles;  1 hr, 13 min.

* Pidgeon Forge:  44.5;  1 hr, 7 min.

* Nashville:  242 miles;  3 hrs, 42 min.

* Great Smoky Mountains National Park:  50.2 miles; 1 hr, 21 min.

* Ashville, NC:  56.2 miles; 1 hr, 16 min.

* Douglas Lake, TN:  34.3 miles; 48 min.

When you get back to camp you can relax in your RV or tent, have a bonfire in our fire ring or just relax in your favorite chair. We have a great view of the mountains or the creek and woods at the back of our property.

With only 2 RV spots you will have more quiet and privacy than the typical larger horse camp.
